Le 26 juin prochain sortira le 10ème album de Cody Johnson ; un des nouveaux artistes ayant, ces dernières années, connus le plus de succès. Le plus récent ? : le double titre d'artiste de l'année et Artiste masculin de l'année'' aux 61e ACM AWARDS !

Un album au titre et à la photo de pochette bien étranges pour lequel (pour le moment) nous n'avons aucune explication. A noter qu'avant même la sortie de l'album, quatre titres sont déjà à l'écoute sur Spotify (titres en gras ci-dessous).

A noter, aussi, que pour la 4e fois consécutive, c'est le texan Trent Willmon qui produit ce qui s'annonce, une fois encore, comme un superbe album de Country très traditionnelle.

UN PEU D'HISTOIRE

Après cinq albums auto-produits entre 2006 et 2016, c'est avec ''Ain't Nothing To Eat", son premier album chez Warner Music Nashville, en 2019,  qui rencontre le plus de succès avec une certification de Platine (1 million de copies vendues !). Une situation qui se renouvellera sur les deux albums suivants !

On June 26th, Cody Johnson's 10th album will be released; he's one of the most successful new artists of recent years. His most recent achievement? Winning both Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at the 61st ACM Awards! The album has a rather unusual title and cover photo, for which (at the moment) we have no explanation. It's worth noting that even before the album's release, four tracks are already available to stream on Spotify (titles in bold below). Also worth noting is that for the fourth consecutive time, Texan Trent Willmon is producing what promises to be, once again, a superb, very traditional country album.

A LITTLE HISTORY After five self-produced albums between 2006 and 2016, it was with "Ain't Nothing To Eat," his first album with Warner Music Nashville in 2019, that he achieved the most success, earning Platinum certification (1 million copies sold!). This success was repeated on his next two albums!

Troisième album produit par Trent Willmon ''''Leather'' remporte le 20 Novembre 2024 le titre envié d'album du l'année aux 58e CMA AWARDS et sera lui aussi certifié de Platine (soit 1 million de copies écoulées).

L'album original de 12 titres sorti le 3 novembre 2023 sera doublé l'année suivante par une version Deluxe de 25 titres

A juin 2026, Cody Johnson rassemble chaque mois sur Spotify près de 13 millions de fans !!! Il est suivi sur sa page Facebook par plus d'un million sep cent mille fans.

Trent Willmon's production third album, "Leather," won the coveted Album of the Year award at the 58th CMA Awards on November 20, 2024, and was also certified Platinum (1 million copies sold). The original 12-track album, released on November 3, 2023, was followed the next year by a 25-track Deluxe Edition. By June 2026, Cody Johnson had nearly 13 million monthly followers on Spotify! He also had over 1.7 million followers on his Facebook page.
