Après l'abandon de la version papier du magazine, il m'aura donc fallu trois bonnes semaines pour digérer l'affaire et m'y remettre !

En toute logique c'est plus particulièrement par la rubrique ''ALBUMS'' qu'il me semblait judicieux de redémarrer.

Et pour rester en territoire connu ouvrir cette rubrique par une des valeur sûre de la Country texane : Aaron Watson

C'est un peu moins de deux ans après la sortie de ''COVER GIRL'', son précédent album, qu'Aaron Watson nous propose un 20e album studio contenant pas moins de... 26 titres !

Si les CDs existaient encore cela correspondrait au minimum à un double album.

Rien que du bon bien-sûr de la part d'un des artistes les plus authentiques et sympathique de la scène musicale texane.

Une excellente Country traditionnelle avec juste ce qu'il faut de modernité.

I will never thanks enough Philippe Lafont (President of Equiblues French Festival) to made me discover you when you became one of the headline of 2013 edition. Since then, I follow your career and never been disappointed by any of your album. You are one of the high level artists to go on to give respect to the best traditional Country Music movement (I also think to Aaron Watson). It is one of the reason why I named ''Barstool Therapy'' ''Best studio album of the month'' this November and will review it in the 104th printed issue of my COUNTRY MUSIC MAG the FIRST and ONLY French bimonthly plubished magazine since 2008 dedicated to REAL Country Music.

Je ne remercierai jamais assez Philippe Lafont (Président du festival français Equiblues) de me l'avoir fait découvrir lorsque vous étiez l'une des têtes d'affiche de l'édition 2013. Depuis, je suis votre carrière et je n'ai jamais été déçu par aucun de vos albums. Vous êtes l'un des artistes de haut niveau qui font honneur au mouvement country traditionnel (avec Aaron Watson, je pense). Troisième album en trois ans pour cette jeune femme qui possède, c’est déjà çà, une bien jolie voix. Alors bien sur sa Country sera sans doute jugée par certain(e)s trop sophistiquée ou trop Pop ou pas assez autre chose. Pour ma part je ne m’embarrasse pas de ce genre de détails inutile et ne boude pas le plaisir que m’a procuré l’éoute de ce bel album aux sonorités modernes mais, je vous le garantie ‘‘Country’’. Mention particulière à sa chanson ‘‘The Hell You Are’’ au rythme envoûtant... Un tube en puissance !?!



This is the third album in three years for this young woman who, it must be said, possesses a very lovely voice. Of course, her country music will undoubtedly be judged by some as too sophisticated, too pop, or not enough of anything else. Personally, I don't bother with such unnecessary details and simply enjoy listening to this beautiful album with its modern sound, but I guarantee you, it's pure country. Special mention goes to her song "The Hell You Are" with its captivating rhythm... A potential hit!?!
